Joan is leading and managing the dynamic growth of the firm's employment team. She combines her experience as an employment lawyer in private practice with three years as in-house adviser at the Royal Bank of Scotland. She is very commercial in her approach and brings invaluable insight from the client's perspective which she has used to hallmark the practice of the team.
Joan is an experienced litigator and has specialist expertise in TUPE, International and European employment law, discrimination, contracts, policy drafting and industrial relations. She speaks regularly at conferences and seminars and is always praised for her down to earth delivery.
