James is a solicitor in the litigation department, with a particular interest in personal injury. He has acted for pursuers and defenders in Sheriff Court and Court of Session actions, with a caseload including workplace injuries, occupier's liability cases and road traffic accidents.

He also has experience of general civil litigation, particularly landlord and tenant, having written a textbook on residential evictions. Clients appreciate his dedicated, considered and imaginative approach.
