Colin acts for a number of the firm's major property clients and his broad practice extends to retailers, commercial investors and developers, funders, hotels and leisure operators. He has built a reputation for completing complex deals quickly and efficiently and is also a popular referral choice for the Scottish end of cross border commercial contracts.
Recent deal highlights include:
- Acting for Hamleys in their key c.29,000 sq ft anchor acquisition at St Enoch Centre, Glasgow;
- Structuring Joint Venture arrangements and acting in the site purchase and development of a number of residential and mixed use sites in the West of Scotland;
- Acting for 15 occupiers at the award winning Union Square Shopping Centre in Aberdeen which opened in late 2009;
- Acting in the Scottish end of the contract to dispose of a portfolio of health clubs for a national health clubs operator.
