Alan acts for lenders and borrowers in leveraged and real estate finance transactions and specialises in high value, complex deals many of which have an international dimension. He also specialises in the establishment of Scottish limited partnerships as part of global fund structures and advises lenders on facility and security arrangements where SLPs form part of the structure. Alan has some excellent experience in the financing of renewable energy transactions.

Alan has over 10 years experience specialising in banking law, not only in private practice, but also as an-house lawyer for a major Scottish bank.
